I was born in Kutoarjo, Central Java, on July 23, 1935.
I always love art, decoration and cooking.
At my early 20’s, I became a beautician and opened my own hair & beauty salon
until I got married and became a housewife. After my husband passed away in 1983, I moved and lived in
California, USA to accompany my only son.
To keep me busy, I took many courses, such as flower arrangement, cake
decorating, and other art-crafts courses.
Now, in the mid 60’s, I live in Jakarta and I have a lot of spare times that I fill with praying and church’s activities.
On August 2000, I met an artist from Bali, named Huang Fong, who became my first
painting instructor. Thanks to God
the almighty, I just found my new talent. Then, in the middle 2001, I was introduced to a
Chinese brush painter, Mrs. Pwan Cho, who became my Chinese
Brush Painting instructor.
I consider
myself as a “Naturalist”.
Landscapes, animals and flowers inspire the images captures in oils and
watercolors.
